Philosophy of Life

According to Wikipedia, "There are at least two senses in which the term philosophy is used, a formal and an informal sense. In the formal sense philosophy is an academic study of the fields metaphysics, ethics, epistemology, logic, and social philosophy. One's "philosophy of life" is philosophy in the informal sense, as a way of life whose focus is resolving the existential questions about the human condition."

It is important to have a "philosophy of life", which helps define who we are. It is way of how we choose to live our life. It, hopefully, helps us live a better life and be a better human being.

I think a lot (I mean a lot) about life, I am going to start writing some philosophies of (my) life, in general. You might like them, or disagree with them, but it is how I feel about life. Please Respect that!

ps. I'm so glad this is my 100th post!

Indian movies: 2 1/2 - 3 hrs long
English movies: 1 1/2 - 2 hrs long
5 Second Films: 5 SECONDS long!!!

Some of the best Films ... at http://5secondfilms.com/

I haven't explored the site too much yet, but here is a sample.

I wrote this a while back, but publishing it now. I would like to say that I don't mean to offend anyone with this post, but just trying to express my thought on the topic.

The latest big time news for the Telugu people: Jr. NTR is getting married. To some it might be just another news, to some girl fans it might be a heart breaking news, and to others it might be happy news. I was in the "just another news" category till I heard the details of the news. "He is getting married to a 18 year old girl, who also happens to be his cousin."

My initial reaction is pure irritation: 'what the heck?' I hope it is not just me that feels this way about the news.

Magadheera v. Ye Maaya Chesave
or should I say
Ram Charan v. Nag Chaitanya?

I find it awkward comparing these two movies. When Magadheera came out they were are comparing Magadheera with Josh. How about now?

A Story

Two men, both seriously ill, occupied the same hospital room. One man was allowed to sit up in his bed for an hour each afternoon to help drain the fluid from his lungs. His bed was next to the room 's only window. The other man had to spend all his time flat on his back. The men talked for hours on end. They spoke of their wives and families, their homes, their jobs, their involvement in the military service, where they had been on vacation.

Every afternoon when the man in the bed by the window could sit up, he would pass the time by describing to his roommate all the things he could see outside the window.
